It cost me .70 cents (US) to get to or from work using our MRT. Bus is cheaper although I am not sure how much it cost. Cab can be anywhere from $4.50 to $7.50 depending on the time of day. However those rides can be pretty frightening. I have no idea how much gas is as I cannot afford to own a car here. $60,000 for a Honda Civic plus a one time fee ($6,000) for the "right" to buy it plus a monthly fee of about $600.00 to be able to use it. Needless to say, I will continue to use public transit.
